Hand-pieced and hand-quilted, this cheerful Scrappy Dresden Plate quilt features colorful Dresden Plate blocks arranged across a soft buttercream ground with pale pink corner accents. Each circular block is made from a lively mix of printed cotton scraps—florals, dots, plaids, and novelty prints—in shades of red, blue, green, yellow, and pink. Sweeping hand quilting adds beautiful texture and movement across the quilt, giving it a warm, homespun presence.

The Dresden Plate was one of the most popular American quilt patterns of the early twentieth century.
